Marsh Fuels New Website Photoshoot
The Brief
Marsh Fuels have been supplying fuels to home in and around Newbury and West Berkshire for many years.
They came to me wanting to create a library of new images with which they could update their website.
I spoke at length with the owner, Carrie, as we explored lots of options. Carrie loved the idea of bringing the viewer into the business more, showing what goes on behind the scenes or the aspects of the business that customers never get to see. It also showed a narrative to new clients as to who these people are as characters, as a team and as a service. Throughout these images, you certainly feel like you know so much more about the company.
Story of the Shoot
To create this shoot, we literally did a day in the life of…. we went through various client journeys from ordering in person and over the phone, through to products being readied and put onto the trucks and even photographed products being delivered to client homes.
After lunch, we set about creating the characters. Photographing each member of staff actively at work in their primary role but with a relaxed personable approach. We wanted to create an air of professional but approachable & friendly.
On completion of the job, as the final edited images were delivered o the client, they realised they had missed a story. They were delighted when I popped back for an hour to capture this missing elements that I seamlessly added to their set.
